BIBLE SOFTWARE

Bible Software is extremely useful to pastors in the preparation of sermons and studies, but can also be very helpful to other Christians as well. This kind of software that, among other things, allows searching scripture by reference and phrases is very helpful for individual study of the Bible, and such things as preparation for Bible study meetings and Sunday School classes. Commercial versions of these kind of programs often cost hundreds of dollars, but there are very comparable free programs available on the Internet.

There are several free Bible software programs available on the Internet. Here are two examples that you might wish to download and try out. They both include several Bible translations and commentaries, and have the ability to search by reference and/or phrases. If you do any serious Bible studying you will probably find one of these programs to be helpful.

A PLAN FOR READING THROUGH THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR   DOWNLOAD

Please Note: This download is a .PDF file. If you don't have Adobe Reader you can download it free here.

The Internet has many choices available of plans for reading through the Bible in one year. I've listed this one mainly because it prints out nicely on one sheet of paper which makes it convenient to put in your Bible and have with you at all times. The plan also switches between areas of the Bible on a weekly schedule that provides a variety of types of Bible literature. This will help to keep you from getting bogged down in one part of the Bible for a long period of time.

If that plan doesn't seem right for you, you might want to
try this one.

That's the end of the free downloads list for now, but check back later for new additions.
