BOOKS AND MEDIA

Westminster's Statement of Purpose says in part:

"We strive to. ..faithfully teach the whole truth of God‘s word…[and] meet spiritual needs ..."

In an effort to fulfill our vision to teach and meet spiritual needs of all ages and maturity levels in the congregation, the church has recognized the importance of making excellent books and other media available for use by the church family.

The Library

The church maintains a library of carefully chosen works to aid in building spiritual growth, comfort, and edification through the written and spoken word. Holdings include subjects ranging from serious theology, encouragement in times of affliction, family helps, and women‘s studies to fun reading for youth and children.

Our media section includes messages on cassette, video, and CD by speakers such as Dr. R. C. Sproul, Dr. D. James Kennedy, Dr. John MacArthur, Dr. Bryan Chapell, and others. Also included in our media library are messages and studies to build families and to provide wholesome entertainment for children and youth. The Focus on the Family Odyssey videos are particularly popular with our young families as are carefully selected works of fiction.

The Book Table

For those who have questions regarding our faith and wish to buy books and pamphlets, Westminster provides a book table stocked with works by noted contemporary and classic writers. These books are chosen to help answer in simple, easy to understand style, many of the most frequently asked questions regarding God‘s existence, providence, and goodness, as well as questions concerning the theological distinctives of our church and its practices. These materials are provided at affordable (and in most cases discount) prices. There are often free materials available on a first come, first served basis.

The Pastor's Sermons

Pastor Rick's sermons are made available in both written and audio form on the church's website, for use in personal or group study. They are also made available on CDs by request.
